The route gradually leaves the bustling streets of Delhi and enters the quieter landscapes of Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. As the bus travels through towns such as Karnal, Ambala, and Mandi, the terrain slowly transitions from plains to winding mountain roads.

During the early morning hours, the journey enters the beautiful valleys of Himachal Pradesh where travelers begin to witness pine forests, river valleys, and small Himalayan villages.

The overnight Volvo journey allows guests to relax comfortably while waking up the next morning near the pristine valleys of Tirthan.

Day 1 – Arrival at Aut & Transfer to Tirthan Valley (Approx. 35 km | 1.5–2 Hours Drive)

Early in the morning, you will arrive at Aut Bus Stand, which acts as the main gateway to the peaceful Tirthan Valley region. Our local driver will receive you and begin the scenic drive toward Tirthan Valley.

The road from Aut to Tirthan follows the Tirthan River through the Banjar Valley, passing through apple orchards, pine forests, and small mountain settlements.

Tirthan Valley is known for its untouched natural beauty, crystal-clear river water, and tranquil Himalayan environment. It is considered one of the best offbeat destinations in Himachal Pradesh.

Upon arrival, check into your riverside hotel or homestay, freshen up, and enjoy breakfast while listening to the soothing sound of the flowing river.

Choie Waterfall Trek

After breakfast, begin a light forest trek toward Choie Waterfall. The trail passes through dense pine forests and small village paths before reaching the waterfall.

The waterfall cascades down rocky cliffs surrounded by greenery, making it a refreshing and peaceful spot for travelers.

The short trek is suitable for beginners and offers great opportunities for photography and nature exploration.

Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP)

Later in the day, visit the entrance area of the Great Himalayan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its incredible biodiversity and untouched wilderness.

The park protects thousands of species of plants and animals, including Himalayan wildlife such as snow leopards, Himalayan brown bears, and rare bird species.

Visitors can enjoy a short nature walk near the park entrance while learning about the park’s ecological importance.

Visitors can learn about local ecosystems, traditional Himalayan farming practices, and wildlife conservation efforts.

Evening by the Tirthan River

The drive to Jibhi passes through narrow mountain roads surrounded by apple orchards, cedar forests, and charming Himachali villages.

Chenni Kothi (Ancient Himalayan Tower)

During the journey, stop near Chenni Kothi, an ancient multi-story tower built using traditional Kath-Kuni architecture – a unique Himachali construction style using wood and stone.

Day 3 – Jibhi Village Exploration & Jalori Pass Excursion

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of birds and flowing streams in the quiet Himalayan village of Jibhi. After breakfast at your homestay, begin a day dedicated to exploring the hidden natural attractions around the village.

Jibhi is known for its traditional wooden houses, dense pine forests, and relaxed atmosphere. Unlike crowded hill stations, the village offers a slower pace of travel where visitors can enjoy nature, scenic walks, and mountain views.

Jibhi Waterfall

The first stop of the day is the charming Jibhi Waterfall, located a short walk from the main village. Hidden within a forest of cedar and pine trees, the waterfall flows down rocky cliffs creating a peaceful natural setting.

A wooden bridge and small viewing platforms allow visitors to enjoy the waterfall from different angles. The cool mist and forest surroundings make it a refreshing spot for relaxation and photography.

Mini Thailand (Kulhi Katandi)

Next, visit the unique rock formation known as Mini Thailand, located along the Jibhi river stream. The name comes from the natural rock pools and tree formations that resemble landscapes often seen in Southeast Asia.

The river has carved out natural pools between large rocks, creating a beautiful spot where travelers can sit by the water, take photographs, and enjoy the peaceful mountain surroundings.

Jalori Pass Scenic Drive

Later in the day, take a scenic drive toward Jalori Pass, located at an altitude of approximately 3,120 meters above sea level. The road climbs steadily through dense forests of oak, deodar, and pine trees.

Jalori Pass is one of the most scenic high-altitude viewpoints in the Banjar Valley region and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding Himalayan mountain ranges.

Depending on road conditions, visitors may drive up to the Jalori Pass barrier and explore the surrounding viewpoints.

The cool alpine environment and panoramic mountain views make this one of the most memorable experiences of the trip.

Travelers often take short nature walks around the pass to enjoy the forest landscapes and capture photographs of the snow-capped peaks.

By late afternoon, return to your homestay in Jibhi.

The evening can be spent relaxing by a bonfire, enjoying local Himachali cuisine, or simply unwinding in the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Overnight Stay: Homestay / Camp in Jibhi
